Palm Sunday, also known as the Sunday of the Passion, is the first day of Holy Week in the Episcopal Church. It commemorates Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem and his subsequent Passion and crucifixion. The liturgical color for this day is red, and it is marked by a procession of people down the Mount of Olives into Jerusalem, waving branches of palms or olive trees, singing psalms, and shouting the antiphon, “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” All are welcome join us for this kick-off of Holy Week.
