Christmas Day Service

Celebrate the birth of our Savior on Wednesday, December 25, at 9:00 AM with the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Norfolk, VA. Our Christmas Day Service with Eucharist – held in the intimate setting of Good Shepherd’s Chapel – is a special service that provides a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the light of Christ coming into the world and to rejoice in the good news of His birth. All are welcome to join us in this celebration of divine love and grace. We welcome all to share in this special and joyful celebration of Christmas!

Please note that there will be no nursery or Children’s Chapel available for this service.  There will be no live stream available for this service.

About the service:  The Christmas Day liturgy in the Episcopal Church is rich with tradition and meaning. This service celebrates the birth of Christ through scripture readings, carols, and prayers, highlighting the joy and mystery of the Incarnation. The Eucharist, central to our worship, invites us to respond to the gift of Christ’s birth with thanksgiving and unity.
