Over the past few months, our community has gathered in so many wonderful ways to create animal puppets and bring a story to life. Along the way, we collaborated with our friends at UPAC (The Underground Performing Arts Collective), whose actors and theater crew rehearsed, built sets, and danced their hearts out to create the wonderful production of Children of Eden at the Birdsong Theater in Suffolk, Virginia.
Then, on Sunday morning, the puppets led our procession for the Blessing of the Animals!
For now, our menagerie is resting in the narthex windows but only for a little while. Their next adventure is already waiting! Stay tuned…!
Much Gratitude,
Ben
