Each year at our All-Saints service we remember those who have gone before us, those who have made a difference in our lives.
Recalling those who have died is a simple and holy act, a form of prayer. Each year we gather as a community to remember those who have gone before us. We say their names out loud, one by one. We know that someday we, too, will die. Someday the church will gather and will remember us by name. No one is nameless; no one is forgotten. We are all one body, one family. God knows us individually; God unites us in love.
