Each year on the first Sunday of October the Church of the Good Shepherd gathers to give thanks for life—not just our own lives, but the life all around us! We hold our worship outside; we bless our pets; we have a grand parade. This year we danced into church with lion masks and a massive caterpillar!
Like all living creatures, we are part of the natural world; we depend on it to sustain us. And the natural world depends on us to care for and protect it. Our CREATION window reminds us that we belong to the world and that the world belongs to us. Let’s enjoy it and take care of it together.
