Christmas is over. The day is gone. We’ve opened up the packages. Cleared away the dirty dishes and the wrapping. We’re back at work, back to the old routines. But then, just as we put away Christmas, the church calendar calls for a celebration called Epiphany– the arrival of the three Wise Men at the manger.
On Epiphany, we celebrate the shining star that led them forward to the manger in Bethlehem. Epiphany reminds us we, too, are on a great journey, a search for goodness and meaning.
Epiphany offers us a guiding light and holds us in the adventure of life. Its possibilities. Its hopes. Its loving encounters. Its surprise turns.
This Epiphany leave room in your life for ASTONISHMENT.
