Don’t miss the first-ever-in-Norfolk collaborative Easter Vigil!
This outdoor, experiential service begins with the lighting of fire. Then the great stories of Creation, the Exodus, the Valley of the Dry Bones, and the Resurrection dramatically unfold. A wide range of local musicians and singers, under the direction of Good Shepherd’s Ben Blanchard, will drum and sing with us. The service brings together three Norfolk Episcopal Churches, the Underground Performing Arts Collective (UPAC), the Mission of the Holy Spirit, and a wide range of local musicians and singers; Bishop Susan Haynes will preside. We’ll mark the arrival of Easter on Saturday, March 30 at 5:30pm in Shirland Lot. Bring a camp chair. Bring a sense of adventure.
