When I preach, I ask questions. Then I share what I’ve learned in my search for answers. I always hope that what I say ends up making people more curious about the Christian life than they were when they walked into church that morning.
Do the Sunday sermons ever make you think in new ways or provoke questions in you?
This summer, beginning in June, I’d like to invite you to an (almost) weekly* opportunity after church to gather in a small group and talk about that Sunday’s sermon and about our lives. If the day’s sermon provokes questions and thinking, come share your thoughts with others and listen to their ponderings, too. There is no need for preparation or advance study.
No advance sign-up is required. If you want to join the conversation on a given Sunday, grab a coffee and treat from coffee hour and head to the Well after church. We’ll meet for no more than an hour. This will be a first-come, first-serve group of no more than 10 people each week.
I look forward to this chance to think and question our faith together, and to the opportunity to hear from you.
* We will begin on June 4 and meet each Sunday in June except for Father’s Day. In July, we’ll meet every Sunday except July 2. In August, we’ll meet every Sunday except August 6.
