The Annual Good Shepherd GINGERBREAD & JAZZ Christmas Party is this Sunday, 12/8 from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm!
GINGERBREAD CONTEST
Join us for a memorable evening of cozy conviviality and Christmas cheer. Enjoy homemade gingerbread cookies and tasty hot chocolate while local professional musicians serenade you with live jazz. Walk around with your treats and browse the entries from our beloved gingerbread house contest. Feeling inspired? You can enter the contest, too! Sign up HERE to showcase your creativity!
Guests vote for their favorite gingerbread houses with cash or card. The house that gets the most votes is the winner! Every dollar collected in the contest will benefit H.O.P.E. Foundation Ministries in their mission to feed and support those in Norfolk experiencing homelessness.
Enter the gingerbread contest. Donate to a good cause. Listen to live jazz. Sip hot chocolate and savor some holiday treats. It’s a sweet way to share the joy of the season! Don’t miss it!
Note: Due to cool temperatures, we have moved the event inside to Memorial Hall.
***CONTEST RULES***
Your creation should primarily be made of gingerbread and edible materials. Your creation does not necessarily need to be a house. Kits and glue guns may be used. Bring your creation on a flat tray or surface that can be placed on a table. All entries can be taken home after the end of the contest. Have fun!
