Feeding Ministry

Good Shepherd is committed to helping those experiencing homelessness and hunger in our community through our partnership with the H.O.P.E Foundation, Inc. (hopefdn.org). H.O.P.E.’s efforts aim to restore faith and hope by Helping Others Pursue Excellence. Good Shepherd is preparing and serving meals one Sunday a month over six months (May – Oct. 2024). Volunteers serve as a team to plan and prepare meals for about 60 recipients; a subset of the team deliver the meals to designated drop-off locations on our appointed Sunday afternoons. Each session is led by an Outreach Committee member. Bring a friend and join us to make a difference in the lives of our most vulnerable neighbors.
